Sanjay Takale becames the first Indian to finish in top 20 in the Classic Category at The Dakar 2025. He finished 13th in class and 18th overall. Pune based businessman who was very active in International events, finally created a milestone with this finish, which remains as a dream for many. He stands as the only finisher out of the four Indians part of the Dakar 2025. While the three riders Harith Noah, Jatin Jain and Ashish Rao Rane had to pull out due to injury and vehicle breakdown.
